Location: Lund , Sweden
Project Type: Private Residential Villa
SVECO’s Role: Architectural Design and High-End Interior Finishing

The Fyrislund Residential Complex stands as a model for sustainable urban housing in southern Sweden. Developed as part of the Brunnshög urban expansion area, the project focuses on energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and architectural clarity. It consists of a series of three-story townhouses designed with a Scandinavian minimalist language, balancing form, function, and sustainability. SVECO Sweden was responsible for architectural supervision, system coordination, and detailed design integration, ensuring high thermal performance and minimal energy use. The building envelope combines perforated metal panels and thermally treated timber to achieve both aesthetic and technical performance goals. Solar panels were integrated into the roof structure, and a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery was implemented to enhance indoor air quality and overall energy efficiency. Key Technical Highlights: • Lightweight insulated structure with high acoustic and thermal performance • Durable hybrid façade (metal and timber cladding) • Integrated solar panel system for renewable energy generation • Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (HRV) • Interior finishes emphasizing natural wood and energy-efficient lighting
